Diana is a white, European, CIS Gender female. She is a therapist and university teacher who lives with her partner.

"I came to Embodiment Coaching with Cat because I needed some individual one on one work, because I felt I was going down with self blame and exhaustion and stress I was struggling with balancing work and leisure time and I wanted to get back to myself, to ground more".

Through the 6 sessions we worked to excavate the layers of self blame, exhaustion and stress that Diana was experiencing.

Each session involved an element of ritual at the start to focus our attention and create a shared container in which to work, to support and be supported.

Initially we worked with meditation, powerful breathwork, sound and some movement. What was beautiful about working with Diana was her bold honesty and courage to really work with what came through each session.

We touched upon the way in which we try to hide parts of ourselves from others in an effort to protect ourselves. We touched on the loneliness that can arise from that way of being. We worked with some strong emotions. And later on in the coaching arc we explored pleasure, creativity and play.

"I really enjoyed sharing ideas with Cat and getting support. And it was good to be reminded that there are beautiful professional people doing this work out there in the world. It was a pleasure. I left the coaching series with practical and creative ways of supporting myself in the future and more clarity about some difficult choices I need to make in life."
